I'm Dr. Justyn Bonomi — a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine practicing on the sacred land of Hawaiʻi's Big Island. My work bridges the ancient and modern, the seen and unseen, the physical and spiritual.
I view each person as an individual ecology of mind, body, heart, spirit, and emotion — distinctive parts of a system designed to move in dynamic balance with the whole. My aim is not just to treat symptoms, but to find and heal the root for lasting and sustainable wellness.
My medical practice is rooted in classical Taoist principles — the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medicine — integrated with modern bio-energetic and neuroplastic modalities.
With over 14 years of training with teachers and masters from diverse lineages, I now weave the most effective techniques into a cohesive approach that helps you move from surviving to truly thriving.

Dr. Justyn's Holistic Facial Rejuvenation
This protocol features Reconstructive Facelift Massage, advanced facial and cosmetic acupuncture, LED light therapy, and gentle facial cupping. Together, these treatments work on the deeper facial structures—bones, muscles, ligaments, fascia, and subcutaneous tissues—to soften fibrotic tension, enhance circulation and lymphatic flow, and reduce puffiness and inflammation. The result is improved tone, elasticity, and facial contour, with a visible smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles and natural stimulation of collagen for long-term, healthy radiance.
Chinese Medicine + Acupuncture
Traditional East Asian healing modalities that support whole-body balance, including orthopedic acupuncture, tuina massage, fire cupping, Gua Sha, and moxibustion. Treatments calm the nervous system, improve circulation and oxygen delivery, and restore smooth energy flow throughout the body. Effective for a wide range of concerns, including acute and chronic pain or injuries, fatigue, hormone and cycle imbalances, fertility support, digestive issues, stress and anxiety, low mood, insomnia, and high blood pressure, among others. Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture
Advanced Cosmetic Acupuncture is a targeted treatment designed to address age-related changes in skin, soft tissue, and facial musculature. Precise needling techniques stimulate circulation, collagen remodeling, tissue repair, neuromuscular balance, and lymphatic drainage while treating areas of fine lines, wrinkles, laxity, tension, puffiness, and asymmetry. Constitutional acupuncture may also be incorporated to address systemic factors that influence skin health. The result is improved tissue quality, elasticity, facial tone, and contour with gradual, natural-looking rejuvenation.
Microneedling w/ Herbal Serums
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) uses a controlled micro-channeling technique to stimulate the skin’s natural repair response—helping improve texture, tone, firmness, and overall radiance. During your treatment, customized Chinese herbal serums are applied to address your unique skin concerns, such as acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, laxity, enlarged pores, uneven texture, and hyperpigmentation. For enhanced recovery and healing, Swiss apple stem cells can be added to optimize results.
